acceptable stay with a few issues
dated decor poor cleaning
the staff were friendly and polite.
The decor felt quite dated, a style i associate more with the 70s. a trouser press was even present in the room (.. ) the shower pressure was weak. also, i found stains on the carpet. The edges near the skirting board looked black from what i assume was poor cleaning.

outdated decor low pressure
the breakfast was acceptable. it had dairy-free options.
The decor was outdated. there was a trouser press that reminded me of the 70s. the hot tap sputtered. The shower had low pressure.

fantastic stay!
homemade pie perfectly cooked vegetables pristine room comfortable bed
the chicken, ham, and leek pie was notably homemade. mash and perfectly cooked vegetables accompanied it well (i really appreciate good veg!). the banoffee pie was also delicious, though not strictly needed. my newly decorated room was pristine and its new bed proved very comfortable.
the breakfast preorder menu had limited options. i could only pick one fruit from banana, apple, or orange.
